Key Responsibilities
Assisted Cutting: Trimming excess fat, deboning smaller cuts, and slicing meat into uniform portions (steaks, cubes, or strips) as directed.
Machinery Operation: Safely operating meat slicers, grinders, cubers, and bone saws under supervision.
Industrial Packing: Operating vacuum-sealers, heat shrink tunnels, and labeling machines.
Portion Control: Weighing meat portions on digital scales to ensure they meet exact weight specifications for retail or service.
Labeling & Inventory: Applying correct labels (product name, weight, expiration date, and barcode) and organizing stock in the walk-in freezer/chiller.
Deep Cleaning: Sanitizing specialized meat equipment, hooks, and stainless steel tables to prevent cross-contamination and bacterial growth.
