Job Summary

Maintain the DDC/BMS (direct digital control/building management) systems site-wide. Monitor HVAC and Life Safety Systems performance site wide.

Major Responsibilities

Maintain the DDC/BMS system site wide. Monitor HVAC and Life Safety System performance site wide. Perform trend logs and monitor systems to ensure proper DDC/BMS System operation. Perform PMs (preventive maintenance) to these systems as recommended per manufacturer's specifications loaded into Maximo. Change or upgrade systems as required. Coordinate with third party contractors/vendors for more extensive modifications. Coordinate with Operations personnel to identify and analyze system problems. Provide recommendations for system changes and upgrades. Support all UB internal customers with electronic/energy management needs. Communicate with Utilities Technicians of any changes.
