Junior Software Engineer- Global Payments Engineering (Toronto)

Role

The role contributes to the overall success of Global Payment Technology by designing, developing, and supporting applications using Shell Scripting, C/C++, Python, and Java technologies (e.g., SpringBoot, Hibernate, JPA) to support payment processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement routing channels, templates, and protocol configuration adapters for SFTP, AS2, and Connect: Direct in IBM Sterling File Gateway.
• Perform Linux server restarts and manage code deployment across multiple environments to ensure smooth operations and updates.
• Provide technical leadership by supporting application development, troubleshooting issues, and mentoring internal teams while collaborating with customers to address requirements.
• Analyze client technology solutions to identify opportunities for optimization and process improvement, driving efficiency and value.
