About the Role
Junior Packaging Engineer (R&D) – Temporary
Location: Folkestone – Hybrid Working available.
Hours: 39 hours per week
Contract: Temporary Ongoing
We are looking for a Junior Packaging Engineer to join our clients R&D team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone working towards a degree who is looking to gain hands-on experience in an FMCG and R&D environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support packaging development and optimisation for new and existing products
* Lead Value Engineering (G2G) projects with support from senior stakeholders
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on packaging specifications and sustainability initiatives
* Manage technical documentation and liaise with packaging suppliers
* Participate in agile investigations and problem-solving activities
* Lead and support packaging trials where required
