About the Role
Senwes Grainlink is looking for a Junior Fumigator who will be responsible for assisting with and monitoring safe and effective fumigation procedures at agricultural grain silos to prevent pest infestations and maintain the quality of stored grain.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and setup of fumigation equipment and materials
- Collaborate with the senior fumigator to implement fumigation plans
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of fumigation equipment
- Apply fumigants using approved methods
- Ensure the effectiveness of quality control procedures and systems
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Keep track of fumigation materials and equipment stock levels, ensuring an adequate supply is available for operations
