Junior Environmental Scientist

AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is seeking a Junior Environmental Scientist for our South Africa offices.

About the Role

With our project pipeline continuing to expand, you will work closely with our US and Canadian teams on large, contaminated land and remediation programmes, while based in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Develop environmental outputs through various stages of the project.
• Analyse geochemical data to determine the extent and type of contamination.
• Prepare detailed reports on site conditions, contamination levels, and remediation efforts.
• Prepare and review technical reports and other project documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Perform specific and limited portions of a broader assignment as an experienced Environmental Scientist.
