Junior Engineer - Quality (Tool room division)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform before Heating Inspection – check dimensions, tolerances, surface finish & machining allowances before heat treatment.
• Conduct Assembly Inspection – verify matching accuracy, shut‑off, parting line, slider & ejector movement, and alignment.
• Carry out Final Inspection – confirm dimensional & functional accuracy of complete mould/die before dispatch or trial.
• Prepare and maintain BHIR, AIR & Final Inspection Reports with proper documentation and traceability.
• Handle and maintain precision measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Profile Projector, CMM, etc.).
• Coordinate with Machining, EDM, Assembly & Design teams for deviation correction.
• Ensure compliance with ISO / AS9100D / IATF 16949 quality system standards.
• Support tool qualification, trials, and continuous improvement initiatives.
