We are currently seeking an individual as a Junior Designer / EIT to contribute to our projects. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge of electrical utility systems while working in a great team environment at a fast-growing company.
Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver electrical distribution design packages for pole renewals, line extensions, underground conversions, and system improvements, ensuring compliance with BC Hydro standards.
Perform structural analysis using SPIDAcalc to model pole loading, guying, and framing for tangent and angle structures.
Develop construction-ready drawings, coordinating with drafting staff as needed.
