Junior Accountant, or Entry Level Accountant, supports the finance department by handling daily accounting tasks, including processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, updating ledgers, and assisting with month-end closing. They ensure financial records are accurate, compliant with regulations, and assist senior staff with financial reporting and audits.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry & Maintenance: Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate, up-to-date, general ledgers.
Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements to ensure accuracy.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process, manage, and track incoming invoices, payments, and expenses.
