About the Role

Our client is Canada's largest retailer. They are looking for a Jr. Python Developer to contribute to core platform functionality, and support ongoing improvements as the system scales nationally.
Project: Medslink is a growing production-scale platform that reduces medication waste by redistributing near-expiry inventory across pharmacies in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and BC. The platform is built in Python and runs on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Location: Brampton (1 day/week onsite)
Duration: 10 months (until EOY)
Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining and enhancing Python logic for medication redistribution.
Help write and optimize SQL queries (BigQuery experience is a plus but not required).
Support implementation of business rules involving expiry timelines and inventory transfers.
