Jr EHS Engineer

Responsibilities

This position will provide support to EHS Manager on the EHS initiatives, involving all environmental reporting and hazardous waste activities, accident investigation, chemical management and safety programs

• Coordinate training, drills, and awareness campaigns
• Ensure compliance with current regulations (NOMs, STPS, among others)
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate workplace risks
• Follow up and implementation of EHS & sustainability projects
• Prepare and maintain up‑to‑date documentation and required reports
• Ensure compliance with the environmental management system

Qualifications

Education: bachelor’s degree in Environment / Sustainability or Engineering

Experience: on similar role or as Jr Engineer 1-2 years

Basic English skills preferred

Industrial Safety knowledge preferred
