IT Support Technician

The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end users, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and software. The role involves diagnosing hardware and software issues, resolving technical problems, and maintaining IT infrastructure to support business operations. Key Responsibilities Provide first- and second-line technical support to users (onsite and remote) Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and peripheral devices Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance Document support requests, solutions, and IT procedures Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors Ensure data security, backups, and compliance with IT policies Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and system deployments
