About the Role
Seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide onsite and deskside support for our Toronto office environment. Engage in AV support, desktop setups, and service desk operations for business and lab users.
The IT Specialist reports to the End User Services Manager and works collaboratively with IT Infrastructure, Lab IT, and managed service desk partners. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting local network requests, and maintaining inventory within the CMDB. This role requires being onsite five days a week to assist Toronto users effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide desktop and service desk support across Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
• Manage end-user onboarding and device lifecycle management
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues as needed
• Oversee service desk queues and incident management
• Maintain knowledge base content and support documentation
