About the Role
- Perform operations and maintenance of Windows/Linux servers to ensure stable business operations (troubleshooting, patching, resource monitoring, backup/restore, etc.).
- Respond to escalations from IT ServiceDesk and investigate/resolve server-related technical issues as Level 2 support (user accounts, file servers, print servers, virtual machines, etc.).
- Manage Active Directory, ensuring reliable user authentication and access management (user/group management, OU design, GPO configuration, account lockout handling, etc.).
- Operate and improve backup and restore processes to ensure data preservation and business continuity (manage backup schedules, conduct restore tests, handle recovery during failures).
- Plan and implement server environment design, construction, and upgrades to ensure scalability and flexibility, including virtualization (Nutanix/VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
