Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Security Specialist with our client in the financial industry located in Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Washington, DC and Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with stakeholders to design, build, and maintain advanced security automation solutions using Splunk SOAR Responsible for creating robust automation playbooks and custom apps from scratch, ensuring scalability and reliability across enterprise environments Build custom applications and playbooks from scratch in Splunk SOAR (beyond standard playbook development) Develop and maintain automation workflows using Python Implement logging, error handling, and secure password vaulting/syncing with external repositories Review API documentation and integrate third-party services with Splunk SOAR Understand and explain Splunk SOAR architecture, including key daemons/services...
