Position: Inventory Manager
Reports To: President
FLSA Status: Exempt
SUMMARY : The First Tactical Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing company-wide inventory strategy, accuracy, and performance across all product categories. This role leads and supports Planner/Buyers, ensuring disciplined planning, purchasing execution, and inventory optimization aligned with sales forecasts and business goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Strategy & Governance
- Own inventory strategy, policies, and best practices across all categories
- Establish inventory targets, KPIs, and controls to support service levels and working capital goals
- Monitor inventory health including turns, aging, excess, and obsolescence
- Lead inventory risk assessment and mitigation planning
