Your role:
The Philips MRI system has a central scan control computer with a real-time operating system. The scan control computer controls four subsystems via individual optical link which are: Transmit chain link, Receive Chain link, Gradient Chain link and Reconstructor Link. In case errors occur, the Digital Network Traffic Analyzer is helping to diagnose the problem.
Work on a complex product in a complex organization.
Acquire an in-depth understanding of the real-time control aspects of MR hardware and of the network communication protocols.
Translate ‘vague’ ideas in smart requirements.
Build prototypes to validate requirements.
Build a FPGA application on existing hardware with embedded processor and Python.
