HBD Príncipe is a sustainable development and ecotourism group based on Príncipe Island, in São Tomé and Príncipe. Founded over a decade ago, our mission is to preserve what makes this 31-million-year-old volcanic island truly unique: its lush nature, its ‘leve leve’ pace of life, and the authenticity of its people.

With five small sustainable hotels and resorts and innovative agroforestry operations, we work daily to ensure that Príncipe remains a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve - a sanctuary of rainforest, biodiversity and tranquillity.
