Intern - IT EDI (Electronic Data Integration)

What You'll Do:
Implementing and monitoring EDI systems, including data mapping, translation and
Coordinating relations with and serving as a liaison to internal users, vendors and other
external partners with respect to data interchange standards
Performing system testing and quality control checks
Developing and maintaining EDI documentation
Requirements:
Must have EDI background with development
EDI specialists should have a solid background in information systems technology and
working knowledge of data communication protocols. They must be detail-oriented,
have excellent problem-solving skills and have the ability to work independently. A
bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline is normally required. In
addition, employers typically look for several years of IT-related experience, plus three or
more years with EDI systems administration, design, analysis and development.
