Intermediate Electrical Engineer (Terrace)

Position Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Resources subsector within WSP’s Energy, Resources and Industry (ERI) sector in Terrace, British Columbia. In this role, you will help lead the design and optimization of electrical power distribution and control systems for both greenfield and brownfield mining and heavy industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply electrical engineering expertise from conceptual design and studies through to project completion.
• Lead design efforts for electrical power distribution and control systems in industrial environments, including hazardous locations.
• Prepare and review specifications and datasheets for switchgear, MCCs, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
• Conduct power system studies (load flow, short circuit, arc flash) using tools such as ETAP or EasyPower.
