About the Role

Position Details
What You Will Do
Investigate, evaluate, negotiate personal lines Accident Benefit claims of moderate to high complexity

Timely, accurate reserving in line with Corporate protocols and guidelines

Maintain control over expenses through pro-active handling techniques

Direct vendor partners as necessary

Obtain approval from Manager on claims above authority

Manage claims in litigation, participate in mediations, pre-trials and settlement conferences
What You Have
Minimum of 2-3 years Accident Benefits claims handling experience

Well-honed negotiation skills

Through knowledge of the legislation that governs these benefits (SABS)

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Exceptional communication skills both written and oral

Strong organizational and time management skills ...
