About the Role
Overview
Our Toronto based client, a successful manufacturer located in the Scarborough area, is looking to hire an Interim Controller.
This role requires someone to work on site 5 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and administration.
- Manage a small staff (AP/AR: 2 roles).
- Lead payroll for 100+ employees and 40–80 temporary workers per week.
- Provide reporting and audit support.
- Engage in business planning, analysis, and business case development to support growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- CPA with full-cycle accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to be in the office 5 days per week (some exceptions).
