Interconnect Supplier Development Engineer (Remote)

**Job Description**
The Supplier Development Engineer's role is vital in managing supplier relationships and ensuring that BAE Systems receives high-quality products on time and at a reasonable cost. This role directly supports the company's ability to meet customer requirements and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

**Responsibilities:**
**Supplier Relationship Management**

+ Partner with Quality and the supplier through the corrective action process when supplier rejects are issued
+ Function as a liaison between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve performance issues and provide technical support

**Supplier Performance Improvement**

+ Develop and implement fact-based improvement plans to enhance supplier quality, delivery, and cost performance
+ Manage supplier improvement plans, conduct workshops (Kaizen events), and provide technical assistance as needed
