About the Role

 As Instrumentation Technician, you will uphold the highest standards for Geotechnical monitoring and communication systems at Cadia Valley Operations (CVO), playing a vital role in the Cadia Integrated Tailings Instrumentation Project. Please note, this role will be offered as a 2 year fixed-term contract. 
  Key responsibilities include but not limited to:  
 In-field hands-on maintenance and monitoring of geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring systems based on planned Maintenance schedules.
 Troubleshoot and address technical issues related to geotechnical instruments.
 Perform regular maintenance and calibration to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data
 Conduct the proper installation, calibration, and commissioning of geotechnical instruments and monitoring equipment (including instrument communications network and power supply). 
 Collect & collate data on instrument health and performance
