About the Role
Join Solaris Management Consultants Inc. as an Instrumentation Engineer/Technologist, working in Calgary or Surrey on impactful energy projects. Focus on the design and commissioning of advanced control systems for the natural gas sector.
As part of our expert Instrumentation & Controls team, you will be pivotal in executing engineering solutions from design to commissioning. This intermediate role involves developing P&IDs, preparing technical documents, and ensuring project alignment with cost estimates and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
• Facilitate engineering project planning and estimates
• Draft instrument specifications and support bidding processes
• Collaborate with vendors and assess their technical submissions
• Perform necessary design and sizing calculations
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in relevant engineering disciplines
• 5–10+ years of applicable experience required
