Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

Demonstrate a strong understanding and practical application of instrumentation and control engineering principles, theories, and industry standards. Provide Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) engineering and design support to multidisciplinary project teams. Select and specify measurement and control instrumentation suitable for project requirements. Prepare instrument and control valve MRQs, conduct technical bid evaluations, and generate purchase requisitions. Review, comment on, and approve vendor documentation for instrument and mechanical equipment packages. Perform instrument sizing and calculations, including control valves, pressure relief valves, flow measurement devices (orifice plates, wedge meters, vortex meters), DP level applications, and other field instrumentation. Develop both basic and detailed I&C engineering deliverables, including control narratives, Cause & Effect (C&E) matrices, panel layouts, loop drawings, I/O lists, and P&IDs.
