Instructor, Primary Care Paramedic

Southeast College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for the Main Instructor position for the Primary Care Paramedic program at the Weyburn campus. The program will run every 2nd weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday).

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate the program, including providing tutorials, facilitating labs, scenario skill practice, small group sessions, and lectures.
• Evaluate the course/program and the results of the teaching process.
• Manage the learning environment in alignment with policies and recognized adult learning protocols.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) Program from an approved school.
• A minimum of two years of recent experience as an ACP.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (SCoP).
• Current instructor level status with International Trauma Life Support (ITLS).
