**Role Summary/Purpose:**

The QA Inspector performs inspections on turbines (steam and gas) and generator components.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

As a QA Inspector you will: Perform magnetic particle inspection of generator and turbine rotors, reporting requirements, steam turbine casings, identification of fusion lines, vane carrier, and blades;

+ Perform hot magnetic particle inspection;
+ Perform dye penetrant inspection
+ removed blades, retaining rings and faceplates, installed blades, generator dovetails, vane carriers, wedges, and hardware;
+ Review safety requirements for Ultrasonic Inspections;
+ Perform Ultrasonic Inspection
+ bearings / braze coupons, tenons, blade pins (installed), weld build-up, phased array weld build-up, phased array L-O steeples, flaw depth sizing, retaining ring forging and bar stock;
+ Set up and operate hardness testing
