Insider Risk Data Operations Analyst

Role Description

SMBC is seeking a Data/Operations Analyst with a strong passion for technology, cybersecurity, data and analytics who is interested in building a career at a fast growing and reputable Bank. The Insider Risk Data/Operations Analyst will work with technology and cybersecurity teams to identify and address data gaps, as well as review data, metrics, reports, and dashboards to identify patterns and anomalies for insider and cyber risks. The role involves understanding the technology and requirements in-depth and using frameworks such as NIST SP 800-53, CISA IRMPE, and NIST AI RMF, with a focus on insider risk. This is a technical, analysis-driven position that emphasizes analyzing and understanding insider risk and communicating it in the best ways to help foster a more secure environment through effective communication and reporting.
