About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Infrastructure Security Analyst, the Infrastructure Security Analyst is a skilled technical role responsible for safeguarding the City’s network, data, systems and cloud footprint. The primary focus of this position is to investigate design, implementation, and operational flaws that could be used to exploit IT resources, to participate in the design of Information Security solutions in accordance with industry standard best practices, regulatory guidelines and City policies in addition to coaching and developing security practices and skills within IT and in business departments. Other responsibilities include performing security risk assessments of cloud environment, Active Directory, databases, software applications and related IT infrastructure, and acting on the findings.
