Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities
• Serves as Project Manager over complex software, hardware, network, and technically difficult projects; validates deliverables associated with the approved business case and project charter; identifies and mitigates project risk; and performs quality assurance duties.
• Secures internal and external resources for the project; coordinates the Request for Proposals (RFP) process, including vendor selection; negotiates contracts with vendors, as assigned; and develops project schedules and manages to achieve deadlines.
• Develops a detailed project schedule to monitor progress and completion of tasks assigned to various project staff, both internal and external to the City.
