Infrastructure Developer (Rails/Postgres) — Heavy-Materials & Construction Tech (Remote, India)

You will own the stability and speed of our production system. You will make the platform faster, cheaper, and more reliable—then prove it with numbers.

What you will own

• PostgreSQL performance & reliability:  query plans, indexes, partitioning, connection pooling, replication, backups, slow query triage; functions/triggers (we use the fx  gem heavily)
• Containers:  Docker/BuildKit, multi-stage builds, base images, smaller images, faster builds
• CI/CD:  build caching, test parallelization (turbo_tests), deployment workflows
• PaaS operations (Render or similar):  service configs, autoscaling, environment management, zero-downtime deploys
• Observability:  error tracking, performance monitoring, logs, alerting
• Background jobs:  queue health, throughput, failure handling, worker scaling
• Security:  secrets, dependency updates, vulnerability scann...
