Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design sequence of operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts, and establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
• Establish and manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.
• Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control and production record systems.
• Develop and implement plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operation methods based on these studies.
• Assist facilities and process engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
• Support, participate, contribute and facilitate the execution of lean projects relating to Kaizen events, standardized work, visual management and 5S.
• Rate lines as part of CPS implementation of maturity improvement.
