About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and proactive Ie Officer to join our Social Housing client on a temporary basis, for a minimum of 2-3 months. This is a 37 hour per week role, working on a hybrid basis, splitting your week between the office a minimum of 2 days, field-based tenant visits and working from home.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage your own caseload of rent accounts, identifying residents at risk of tenancy failure and taking early action to prevent arrears escalation.

  • Carry out face-to-face tenant visits to discuss arrears and provide support, working collaboratively with internal teams to sustain tenancies.

  • Devise affordable payment plans to bring accounts up to date, and signpost to external money advice services where appropriate

  • Attend meetings with partner agencies (DWP, Local Authorities) to resolve benefit queries
