Job Description

Under direct supervision, performs a variety of administrative tasks related to the temporary importation of materials and the exportation of temporary products.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Mexican customs broker with the information needed to consolidate import entries.
• Verifies compliance with established delivery schedules and quantities of goods with Warehouse personnel.
• If the goods meet all requirements, the import is processed immediately.
• If the goods do not meet all requirements, performs all necessary procedures such as maquila program updates and, if applicable, sectoral promotion.
• Updates the export database.
• Provides both the U.S. and Mexican customs brokers with the information required to ensure correct tariff classification.
• Verifies that Warehouse has the correct list of materials to be exported.
• Prepares the export invoice.
