Freight Operator – Ipswich
Our client, a freight forwarder, is looking for a Freight Operator to join their office in Ipswich.
Key responsibilities and qualifications:
- Import experience handling from quoting stage through to delivery and billing – training available.
- Experience exporting (90% of work is imports, export training can be provided).
- Full‐time schedule 09:00‑17:30 with salary up to £35,000 depending on experience.
- Operations Clerk duties: import and export via air, sea and road.
- Customs compliance required – CDS.
- Cargowise experience preferred.
- Exports training available if no previous experience; imports sea freight experience is mandatory.
