IE Technician

Job Responsibilities

• 1. Support Industrial Engineer in SMT line setup, line balancing, manpower arrangement, and layout implementation.
• 2. Conduct time study, UPH data collection, and cycle time measurement on production lines.
• 3. Assist in maintaining standard time, capacity data, routing, and IE documentation.
• 4. Support productivity improvement and cost reduction activities through Kaizen and 5S initiatives.
• 5. Assist in NPI activities including line preparation, tooling/fixture setup, trial runs, and data recording.
• 6. Monitor line performance and report abnormalities related to manpower, layout, or process flow.
• 7. Support implementation and maintenance of SOP, WI, and standard work at shop floor.
• 8. Assist engineers in engineering trials, ECN implementation, and process changes.
• 9. Participate in audit preparation and ensure IE-related documents and layouts are updated.
