About the Role
• Looking for someone with IBM Informix experience
• Install, configure, monitor, upgrade, and maintain a database in production and non-production environments.
• Daily maintenance and routine - reviewing log files etc.
• Provide support on all aspects of database administration, including backup/recovery, replication, deployment, and real-time production troubleshooting responsibilities.
• Day-to-day database management - fixing issues, resolving service issues, Windows patching, fixing outages, etc.
• Address database performance issues using performance monitors and various tuning techniques
• Watching the system for requests of add, configuration change, and modify designs.
• Troubleshoot database production problems and database connectivity issues.
• Able to write database maintenance/automation scripts.
