IAM Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement IAM solutions aligned with security and compliance needs
• Build custom applications, connectors, and integrations for IAM workflows
• Configure and manage IAM platforms, SSO, and MFA systems
• Oversee user lifecycle (provisioning, deprovisioning, role changes) and automate onboarding/offboarding
• Define and enforce access control policies (RBAC, ABAC) and update as needed
• Monitor IAM systems, address vulnerabilities, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Support incident response related to IAM breaches or incidents
• Maintain documentation, reports, and metrics on IAM processes and access compliance
• Collaborate with IT, security, compliance teams, and vendors on IAM strategies
• Stay updated on IAM technologies, trends, and best practices to drive improvements
• Provide knowledge transfer and guidance on IAM security best practices
