Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview

The Hybrid Infrastructure Platform team within Genus' global Technology and Architecture organization is looking for a Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer. This remote role focuses on designing, building and operating hybrid infrastructure across Genus' Azure estate and on‑premises VMware virtual‑infrastructure estate. The successful candidate will ensure that core infrastructure platforms are secure, resilient and scalable while supporting Genus' mission of sustainable animal genetics

You Will

• Work with architecture and development teams to design secure and reliable infrastructure across Azure and on‑premises datacentres. Responsibilities include designing and deploying Azure services (virtual machines, storage, networking), developing Infrastructure‑as‑Code templates (ARM/Terraform), and implementing VMware solutions such as vSphere, vCenter and ESXi.
