About the Role
What you’ll do:
The Human Resources Advisor provides guidance and support across all functional areas of HR, including employee relations, talent acquisition, talent management, compensation and benefits, workforce planning, and organizational development. This role will support front‑end employees through to our Executive Leadership Team to enhance the HR capability within Heritage Co‑op.
Key Job Responsibilities Include:
- Support end‑to‑end talent acquisition activities.
- Provide frontline support for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Coordinate employee engagement, wellness, recognition, and learning and development initiatives.
- Maintain awareness of HR best practices, compensation trends, labour‑market data, and legislative changes to support informed decision‑making.
- Assist with employer branding efforts, including career fairs, student engagement, and Co‑op promotions.
