About the Role
Purpose:
The Summer Student position works in a support function within the relevant department in an administrative and/or a technical capacity. It provides the student with the opportunity to develop relevant skills and experience and receive experiential on-the-job training, guidance and mentorship.
Education:
Must be a current student.
Experience:
Previous experience in a front-line and/or customer service role is required.
Administrative experience with strong attention to detail.
Experience on operating Microsoft Office Suite ( Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience on operating office equipment (telephone, fax, photocopier, scanner).
Experience with the StarRez Housing Management system is an asset.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Ability to find and relay information in a clear, concise manner.
