About the Role
<p>The role of the household assistant within a clinical setting is to support and compliment the role of the clinical and non-clinical staff in the designated area of work.</p>

<p>The role will involve ensuring that the standards of excellence in hygiene are applied and maintained in all clinical/non clinical areas. He/she will ensure best practices are applied in relation to the elements of hygiene standards. (I.e. waste management, sharps management, linen management, patient equipment, environment and hand hygiene.)</p>
