Position Summary

We are seeking a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) responsible for reviewing medical records and accurately assigning CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes. The role ensures compliance with coding guidelines and supports timely, accurate reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation to assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with coding regulations and payer requirements
• Verify medical necessity and proper documentation
• Communicate with providers to clarify incomplete or unclear documentation
• Maintain productivity and quality standards
• Stay current with coding updates and regulatory changes
• Support billing and revenue cycle processes

Qualifications

• Active CPC certification from AAPC
• 1–3 years of medical coding experience preferred
