HGV Driver/Loader

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Waste Services team.

The role will be based at the council's depot, and you will be working with a team that strives to deliver a great service to its residents.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Council HGV for refuse, recycling and garden waste collections.
• Handle other waste streams on ad hoc collection rounds.
• Encourage recycling and provide support to residents on waste disposal matters.
• Maintain a can do attitude and work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

• HGV Driving Licence.
• Experience driving a Council HGV for refuse and recycling collections.
• Customer‑focused mindset and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
