About the Role
The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Tipton area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12pm start
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour PAYE
Location: Tipton, DY4 8XP
Job Type: Ongoing
The role:
* Collecting offensive waste (in Eurobins) from 25-30 customers depending on distance.
* Upon return to the depot, the waste will be tipped into a trailer for onward movement to a disposal site
* Vehicles can be up to 32t but will predominately be 16t.
* Prepare the vehicle for daily operations.
* Utilise a compaction vehicle for waste disposal.
* Perform collections, wheeling bins to the back of the truck, and operating the bin pick-up mechanism.
* Use a PDA for tracking and recording collections.
* Maintain physical fitness, as the role involves some heavy lifti...
