Heavy Equipment Operator

Overview

Dawson Road Maintenance is looking for skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team!

In this role you will be a valued member of Dawson Road Maintenance, working in a temporary, full-time position of Heavy Equipment Operator , reporting to the Superintendent of Roads. This position requires skilled and experienced operators to support our production goals and ensure work is completed within specified tolerances. Your base location will be Smithers B.C and may require some travel throughout our great province.

• Must prioritize safety of self and others in all aspects of the job
• Ability to efficiently operate heavy equipment
• Ability to read and understand survey stakes is considered an asset
• Operate heavy equipment in a mining environment in a safe and appropriate manner
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
