Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the US government, allies, and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking a **Heavy Equipment Mechanic** to support a unique US Air Force program based on the island of Diego Garcia. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles and equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation to support Air Force, Space Force, ARTs, GEODDs, and AMC operations.

**Job Responsibilities:**

+ Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment, including Non-Tactical Vehicles (NTVE), Weight Handling Equipment (WHE), Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and Other Handling Equipment (OHE).
