Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for site‑specific safety orientation, job site inspections and accident/incident reporting.
• Monitor employees and subcontractors on site to ensure compliance with safety procedures and address issues.
• Proactively identify and prevent hazardous situations and implement corrective actions.
• Organize and conduct training programs including WHMIS, fall protection, PPE, CPR/first aid.
• Create, maintain, and educate all site staff on a safety‑first culture.
• Review subcontractor pre‑construction safety submittals.
• Review and file subcontractor weekly safety documentation.
