Become a key player in health and safety at a leading heavy industrial manufacturer in Surrey, BC. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on safety management on the site.
We seek a Health Safety Coordinator with 7-10 years of experience in the heavy industrial manufacturing sector. You will manage everything from hazard identification and risk assessments to liaising with WorkSafe. Reporting to the Director of HR, you will provide essential support to our maintenance and production teams in a hybrid office-site capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct workplace health safety orientations and crew talks
• Perform hazard identification and risk assessments on-site
• Maintain and update safety literature, handbooks, and OHS reports
• Manage disability processes, including return-to-work investigations
